I hope this email finds you well. Next Wednesday, November 3rd at 6:30pm, I am hosting a virtual town hall regarding a regional stormwater project in the North Chicago/Lake Bluff area. Please see more information about this virtual event below.
I feel very fortunate to have attended the Waukegan Harbor's Citizen's Advisory Group's event earlier this month to celebrate the final clean up of polychlorinated biphenyl compounds (PCBs) from the harbor. In 1975, PCBs were found in Waukegan Harbor as a result of manufacturing activities. At one time, the Waukegan Harbor was said to have the largest PCB contaminated site in the world. It is a tremendous accomplishment that has taken decades to complete, and I thank the members of the Waukegan Harbor CAG for their dedication over the years.
As always, it is an honor and a privilege to serve as the Chair of the County Board and County Board Member of District 13. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have.
